Olov Samuelson

I was born and raised on a farm in Sweden. After graduating from High School in my home country I decided to pursue a University degree in the States. I graduated from De Anza College with an Associate of Arts degree in Animation, before transferring to Academy of Arts University in San Francisco to complete a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Effects: Compositing.

After working as a compositor at companies such as Rhythm & Hues and Element FX, I returned to Europe, to work for Double Negative in London.

I spent 6 years there until I decided it was time to try something different, and ended up in Vancouver, Canada. I worked at Sony Imageworks for a while, and am now working at MPC as a lead compositor.

I've also taken numerous classes in photography, ranging from black and white film photography, to fashion photography. I do studio as well as location shoots.
